Chinazom Akobundu Godwin was born in Imo State, Nigeria on February 24, 1985 to the family of Mr and Mrs Godwin Ihesiaba Agu. He was educated at Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State Nigeria, Hartlepool College of Further Education, England and at University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

He is also a professional scriptwriter. Destined to Rule is his first novel.

He is married to Ugochi Blessing Godwin. He lives with his family in Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria..
